Morgan Freeman performance as the chauffeur Hoke Colburn to Miss Daisy (Jessica Tandy) that really put him on the movie star map.

it’s a really well made film with wonderful acting performances from Jessica Tandy, who won an Oscar for her role as Miss Daisy

Driving Miss Daisy won four Oscars and was nominated for another five, including Best Actor for Freeman, though he didn’t win.

A fine dialogue from the movie

“- Daisy Werthan: You know your letters don’t you?
– Hoke Colburn: Oh yeah, yeah I know my abc’s pretty good, just can’t read.
– Daisy Werthan: Stop saying that you’re making me mad! If you know your letters you can read. You just don’t know you can read.

No
Conflict
When the flute is playing
For then I see every movement emanates
From God’s
Holy
Dance.

On a simple level, the flute is like a plaintive, purified human voice, calling out — an expression of longing.

The flute is also hollow, empty, and it is precisely because of this emptiness that its sound is so pure.

On a more esoteric level, each human being is a living flute. The hollow reed is the sushumna, the central spiritual channel that parallels the spine. The holes of the flute are the chakras that open out from the sushumna.

Living music is produced when the breath of God flows through this hollow reed, producing bliss, producing the sound of God. The sound heard is a soft hum or quiet ringing which gently draws us into the divine embrace.

Love all.

Face of God

Dance, Dervish dance ….

bring the face of god before you.

only love can lift the heart up so high that its true color is restored by the sun!

see him near and clapping, that perfect one who fathers divine rhythm.

o dance, dervish dance ……

and know you bring your master happiness whenever you smile.

last night so many tears took flight because of joy that the sky god crowded and complained

when i discovered god hiding again in my heart

and i could not cease to celebrate.

Eyes so Soft

Don’t surrender your loneliness
So quickly.
Let it cut more deep.

Let it ferment and season you
As few human
Or even divine ingredients can.

Something missing in my heart tonight
Has made my eyes so soft,
My voice
So tender,

My need of God
Absolutely
Clear.

Padma Bhushan Rajan Mishra

‘Irreparable loss to the art and music world. ’: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi condoles classical singer Rajan Mishra’s death

Indian Classical singer Rajan Mishra, a Padma Bhushan awardee, died of complications caused by COVID-19 at a hospital on Sunday. He was 70.

Belonging to the Benaras gharana, Mr. Mishra, along with brother Sajan Mishra, made a mark for himself as a vocalist in the khyal style of Indian classical singing.

Remember this Great artist who along with brother Sajan Mishra Performed in Courtyard of my home Heritage House in Jodhpur Rajasthan on Sunday, 30 April 2006 evening before a private audience of family and friends .

It was a mesmerizing evening , have the recording of this in my collection . He always performed so good , remember him listening since 1982 but one which left a timeless impression when both brother performed in Ahmedabad music festival in 2005 till early morning . Met and listened Duo Brothers on many occasions in different parts of India .

Truly India has lost a great music Artist as well a Guru who was open to share his genius to next generation ,

May God give peace to Departed Soul and strength to family and all music lovers across World to bear his Earthly absence .

Hear, Ear , and Wear

Every Life has a story to Tell , Teach , and Transform but all depends on how you Hear, Ear , and Wear.

Lao Tzu ( 570 – 490 BC ) was sitting under a tree when an old leaf fell, just wavering; and he watched the leaf falling down from the tree, and he became enlightened.

Love All.

Highway of Thoughts

Today noticed some Traffic sign boards on Highway during morning walk , a thought came what is the speed limit of our thinking and imagination ?

Are we HOT ( Highway of thoughts ) ?

Mind is a Highway of thoughts generated by activation of our senses and nonsenses and most of the time it may witness Traffic Jam of various thoughts of different colors and our inclination on any thought get it parked in our Brain’s memory temporary or permanent slot .

A new study has suggested that an average person has 6,200 thoughts per day. Thousands of thoughts cross our mind through the day. Many people even complain that they can’t sleep immediately after going to bed as their brain does not stop thinking.

Mind is a bridge between I and Eye or Self and Senses.

Brain is a Super computer of immense capacity and users friendly .

But most of the people complain about Monkey Mind and Donkey Brain . Why ?

Enjoy the story before we Stop at Zebra Crossing for us to cross the river of thoughts with a Cool mind and Silent Brain .

Story: One day while Zen monk Tanzan and a young monk were traveling, they came to a river with a strong current. As they were preparing to cross the river, they saw a young lady in distress also attempting to cross.

Tanzan offered, “Here, let me carry you across,” and placed her down gently on the other side.

The lady said, “Thank you very much. Goodbye.” The two continued on their journey for more than half a day.

Finally, the younger monk could not contain himself any longer, and blurted out, “I thought we monks were supposed to avoid women. Why did you just do that?”

“Oh, you mean the woman way back there? I put her down long ago. Are you still carrying her?”

Love this Sign of Zebra Crossing where a Pedestrian crossing the Stripes of Black and White with Cool mind and Silent Brain .

Black and White are synonymous with Detachment and Attachment , Dislike and like , Negative and Positive , Past and Future , Time and Timeless and Body and Soul …… and many more faces of Duality.

Brain get activated by stepping on Black as well as on White , so if you say Yes to a thought or say No to any thought but it get parked into the memory space of brain so how to have silent Zone in our Cluttering Mind and Overloaded Brain .

Pedestrian is synonymous of Referee who is neither attached nor detached with any Players of Duality who walks in Silence Zone of Now .

Referee is one who is alert , aware in present moment with Cool mind and Silent Brain

Enlightenment 360 degree is to be a Referee in Game of Time and Timelessness witnessing it with Neutral Mind.

Love All.
