Ardhanarishvara is a Sanatana Dharma (Indian ) Mythological concept which has a origin written at least 3000 years ago wrapped with visual Spiritual Meanings and Scientific Understanding .
Ardhanarishvara is an androgynous deity composed of Lord Shiva and his Consort Shakti, representing the synthesis of masculine time Body Left brain , controlling right-side and feminine timeless Soul right brain , controlling left side.

The right brain left brain theory originated in the work of Roger W. Sperry, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1981.
Spirituality and Science both try to find out the origin, evolution, and nature of the universe in order to have glimpses of the principles, involved in it.
The perception of the universe and its understanding happens within the brain only .

Our right human hemisphere is all about this present moment. It’s all about “right here, right now.” Our right hemisphere, it thinks in pictures and it learns kinesthetically through the movement of our bodies. Information, in the form of energy, streams in simultaneously through all of our sensory systems and then it explodes into this enormous collage of what this present moment looks like, what this present moment smells like and tastes like, what it feels like and what it sounds like.
I am an energy-being connected to the energy all around me through the consciousness of my right hemisphere. We are energy-beings connected to one another through the consciousness of our right hemispheres as one human family. And right here, right now, we are brothers and sisters on this planet, here to make the world a better place. And in this moment we are perfect, we are whole and we are beautiful.

Time to Die
Ikkyu, the Zen master, was very clever even as a boy.
His teacher had a Precious Tea Cup, a rare antique. Ikkyu happened to break this cup and was greatly perplexed. Hearing the footsteps of his teacher, he held the pieces of the cup behind him.
When the master appeared, Ikkyu asked: “Why do people have to die?”
“This is natural,” explained the older man. “Everything has to die and has just so long to live.”
Ikkyu, producing the shattered cup, added:
“It was time for your cup to die.”

The gates of Paradise and Hell
A soldier named Nobushige came to Hakuin, and asked: “Is there really a paradise and a hell?”
“Who are you?” inquired Hakuin.
“I am a samurai,” the warrior replied.
“You, a soldier!” exclaimed Hakuin. “What kind of ruler would have you as his guard? Your face looks like that of a beggar.”
Nobushige became so angry that he began to draw his sword, but Hakuin continued: “So you have a sword! Your weapon is probably much too dull to cut off my head.”
As Nobushige drew his sword Hakuin remarked: “Here open the gates of hell!”
At these words the samurai, perceiving the master’s discipline, sheathed his sword and bowed.
“Here open the gates of paradise,” said Hakuin.
