Always better in All ways

An elderly skillful Carpenter was known to make extraordinary beautiful Houses while working with the Company for more than 30 Years .

He expressed his desire to retire before the employer and live a more leisurely life with his wife enjoying his extended family.

The Employer while appreciating his long association with the company and asked if he could build just one more house as a personal favor.

The carpenter said yes,

But in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. It was an unfortunate way to end his career.

When the carpenter finished his work came to gave the keys of the House to the Employer instead Employer handed the front-door keys back to the carpenter. “This is your house,” he said, “my gift to you.”

  1. We can always be more like we need to be–like we are needed to be–than we are! Perfection is not a steady state of being. There are no static/rigid ways of being fully/wholly/completely alive. Static is dead. Growing, evolving, becoming is life/living/being alive.
