Taste of Self Identity

Mind of Zero

Summer surprised us, coming over the Starnbergersee
With a shower of rain; we stopped in the colonnade,
And went on in sunlight, into the Hofgarten,
And drank coffee, and talked for an hour.

Drinking coffee and talking at the Hofgarten café provided respite for more than just poets.

An unusual and unorthodox series of scientific discussions in a café led toMax von Laue’s ingenious experiment that unmasked the “True identity of X-rays ” and also cornerstone for “Atomic Fingerprints “

Max Theodor Felix von Laue (9 October 1879 – 24 April 1960) was a German physicist who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1914 for his discovery of the diffraction of X-rays by crystals.
