Mother …… a Stamp of love

Good and Gratitude morning ………

Mother is nature of divine ……. mother is an attitude to be kind ….. loving ……. the softness to touch ……. the glance of divine ……. mother is our first guru and guide …….. as such one remembers parents every morning along with the divine name as gratitude for giving body and life …….

my mother left this earth as per Indian Hindu Calender today  in year 2001 at the age of 84 …….

she had a habit that she will always take bath before going to Bed… one day I ask her why she takes bath….the answer she gave …..that this body is like a car from the God….I drive it everyday…..but always keep it clean inside and outside… not know ….when God want it back….. so offer prayers in night and sleep in lap of God ….. like a child sleeping in the lap of a mother without any fear and worries …….

this I listened from her almost 50 years back ……..and to be honest I also follow the same routine till today….
to explain her life nothing can be more near than this song …….she was truly  a stamp of love  …… the stamp she left on each member of her family ……… and with love in our hearts we all remember her everyday but more today …… as she left on the path of enlightenment from this beautiful earth

listening this beautiful song of Saint KABIR  …….   Song Name: Chadariya Jhini Re Jhini

1) Poet Kabir Das says, “When I was born, the world smiled and cried. However, I will do such deeds that when I leave, I will be the one smiling and the world will be the one crying.” This life is like a very thin transparent shawl which should be drenched in the holy name of Lord Rama, the Reservoir of Pleasure.

2) The eight lotuses is the spinning wheel using the five earthly elements to make the chadar (the body). In nine of ten days, the chadar is completed; however, the fools will destroy it.

3) When the chadar is completed, it is sent to the dyer (the spiritual master) to color it. The dyer (the spiritual master) colored it as such that it is all red (the color of self-realization).

4) Do not have doubts or fears while wearing this chadar. It is only given to you for two days and it is temporary too. The foolish people do not understand the temporariness of thischadar, and they day by day destroy it.

5) Great devotees such as Dhruva Maharaja, Prahlad Maharaja, Sudama, and Sukadeva Goswami have worn this chadar as well as purified their chadars as well other chadars (souls). The servant, Kabir Dasa, is attempting to wear this chadar as given to him originally by his guru.

This song was taken from Anup Jalota’s recording for ISKCON in the 1980s, “Bhajan Sandhya.”
