Good and God’s morning ……
happy mother’s day to everyone
many time people ask if I had a spiritual teacher or Guru …… so tell them you can call it guru or teacher but I call it …..mother ….mother and mother …… first and foremost guru and guide …….
when in my childhood holding her hand asked her why I like to hold her hand ……. she answered it is data transfer of love ….may be it is her love only that …… what I write today is actually her wisdom …..
even thinking about her …… the way she used to look towards all her children …and the food she used to serve bring tears even today even after her death long ago
so what exactly is motherhood ….. the ability to mirror …….
in the womb or Garba ( Indian Hindi word )
The word Garba comes from the Sanskrit word for gestation or pregnancy.
Matsya Purāṇa (2.25-30) gives an account of initial creation. After Mahāprālaya, the great dissolution of the Universe, there was darkness everywhere. Everything was in a state of sleep. There was nothing, either moving or static. Then Svayambhu, Self-manifested Being arose, which is a form beyond senses. It created the primordial waters first and established the seed of creation into it. The seed turned into a golden womb, Hiraṇyagarbha
and to explain this whole cycle of creation …….Traditionally, a garba dance is performed around a clay lantern with a light inside, called a Garbha Deep. This lantern represents life, and the fetus in the womb in particular. The dancers thus honor Durga, the feminine form of divinity.
Garba is performed in a circle as a symbol of the Hindu view of time. The rings of dancers revolve in cycles, as time in Hinduism is cyclical. As the cycle of time revolves, from birth, to life, to death and again to rebirth, the only thing that is constant is the Goddess, that one unmoving symbol in the midst of all of this unending and infinite movement.
The dance symbolizes that God, represented in feminine form in this case, is the only thing that remains unchanging in a constantly changing universe (jagat).
in Hinduism God is neti neti …means neither feminine nor masculine …… neither light nor darkness and so on and on now with the energy equation of atom we understand that God is energy Zero ….. that is why we have ARDHNARISHWARA image of God ….half feminine and half masculine …… but nature of God is feminine …… as all creation happens inside womb of light only ….
few years back I was in an Indian wedding and a doctor friend of mine from childhood time …… while watching a cultural performance conducted by family members known as Ladies sangeeet or musical ……
so suddenly asked me a spiritual question ….. what is the meaning of life …… when we first met we were small children and now we both are grand parent and one day will leave this planet …… is this the life …..
so told him that just before he asked this question …. a girl was performing on the stage and while she was performing her mother was looking towards her with such softness , grace and love it was so divine so told him that God created this cosmos to witness this love ….. the love of a mother …..
so even he told me that even he also noticed that moment and that moment has even mesmerized him also …..
Only a mother can know and understand how much love that cosmic spirit many refer as OM , ALLAH , GOD or name of their choice has put in her heart for her children.
This love is a mountain and no one has been able to scale its heights; this love is an ocean and no one has been able to calculate its depths.
motherhood is mirroring of God inside and mirroring God is enlightenment so mothers are the mirror of God .
