Beyond the Rainbow

The highest excellence is like water,

it benefits those in the most
inaccessible places without striving.

It occupies the lowest level,
which men avoid.

Therefore it is analagous to Tao.

It has the virtue of gravity, which finds its own place.

It has the virtue of the heart, which knows the silent deeps.

It has the virtue of the good, which bestows the fullest gifts.

It has the virtue of the words which speak the greatest truths.

It has the virtue of the order which ensures the perfect peace.

It has the virtue of the service which uses the highest skill.

It has the virtue of the rhythm which is unfailing in its timelessness.

Therefore, since it does not strive, it is serene without reaction.

Owls of cosmic net

Good and God’s morning ……. yesterday late night I was surfing the Internet and on a friend’s blog I found this above pictures of owls titled …..INTERNET ….. and to be honest with you thought ……is not we all are owls searching  into sea of information with the hope to find pearls of wisdom ?…..

and as an owl of Internet could find this pearl of wisdom from LAO TZU ….. with an age of more than 2500 years yet still shining ….

“Be careful what you water your dreams with…..

Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream……

Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success.

Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success.

Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.”

― Lao Tzu

(570-490 BC)

so decided to explore why owl is a symbol of wisdom in different civilization ….. here are some answers …..

In Greek and Roman mythology, Glaucus (Greek: Γλαῦκος, Glaukos, “glaring (eyes)”; compare Greek glaux, owl, of the same origin) is the symbolic owl of Athena or Minerva, respectively. Often referred to as the “owl of Athena” or “owl of Minerva”, it accompanies Minerva in Roman myths, seen as a symbol of wisdom because the owl is capable of seeing even in the dark and of vigilance because the owl is awake at night.

In India ……Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good fortune, relies on Uluka the owl to carry her wherever she disperses her material and spiritual riches.

owl symbolize the ability to see in darkness …… darkness can be physical , mental , financial or spiritual …… and in all the darkness a clear vision can shower us with health , happiness , wealth and enlightenment …..

society honors us for our services and how important our service is to the society ……. the quantum of reward will depend on this only …….

so be an important owl for the society ……

Thursday is my date to update my wordpress blog and facebook page ….

ram0ram wisdom notes

at present writing my footnote on each chapter of Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu …… it is happening because of Internet …..

do not you think ….. we all are owls of internet or owls of cosmic net ….

be an owl of internet outside and owl of cosmic net inside  …… not to know all answers but not to have questions …..

not to have questions is true enlightenment and real owl of cosmic net ….

love all…
